The owner and the whole place was a big hug. Great vibes, and the breakfast was the best breakfast I’ve ever had in my life. The owner learned to cook in the South of France. She was incredibly welcoming and a comfort to me being evacuated from the Palisades fires. She is a true hostess.

Freda, the owner, is absolutely fabulous. She made us feel right at home. The property and our room were comfortable and clean. She cooked unique-delicious breakfasts and recommended great restaurants and shopping areas. The location is perfect and having a dedicated parking spot was convenient.

Freda is a most wondrous hostess! She greeted us warmly and provided many helpful ideas and courtesies for our first-time stay in San Clemente. She's also a fabulous cook as each breakfast was a fantastic meal! The location was ideal for getting around, especially being just a block away from the free San Clemente Trolley; everything else was within walking distance. Yes, we would highly recommend Always Inn--we'll return as soon as we can arrange it!

Prepare to be charmed!. From the moment we walked in until departing the treat of being hosted by Always Inn owner, and master chef Freda, amounted to an enchanting holiday, with service for a king, queen, and a four legged fur baby. We couldn't recommend any better. Carlo and Charlo.

Fairly quiet location at night . Close to shops, restaurants and free trolley that took us to the pier and the outlets mall. Nice breakfast with fruit, pastries, egg dishes and good coffee. If you went hungry it was your own fault for not eating enough.

charming furnishings, beautiful patios/garden, delicious breakfast, and the owner is a very caring, helpful and interesting person. A great location for town. we only walked to beach (3 blocks) once because coming back is all uphill, but there is a free town shuttle available, though we chose to drive the other days. An easy 1 minute drive.

The host Freda is welcoming, and she makes a great breakfast! The inside of the home is quirky. It provides an eclectic collection of art, various collectible items -with tags attached, funky furniture, fresh baked cookies, 20+hot sauces, hot water for tea, and comfortable bedrooms. I believe it has 3 guest rooms- ours had our own bathroom.

Central location, charming, personable and friendly host. Nice breakfast with choice of juices, fresh fruit salad, freshly prepared scrambled egg on croissant and tres leches cake. Room with separate rear terrace and parking.

Feda was wonderful and cooked a great breakfast. She was very accommodating and friendly and went out of her way to welcome us and our dog..even to the point of cooking up some organic hamburger as a treat for our dog.
